Omoikane Labs is a security research lab focused on threat intelligence, adversary emulation, malware, cloud security, and vulnerability research.
The name and mark
The name takes inspiration from Omoikane, a figure associated with wisdom and deliberation. A sourced note will be published when that research is complete.
The V7 mark is a separate homage to Miyamoto Musashi’s Book of Five Rings. The open circle represents the void. The unequal, separated blades refer to the two-sword method.
The site keeps the rest of the visual language deliberately neutral. The references are explained, not used as decorative costume.
